About HongTong Enameled Copper Wire
Hongtong offers a comprehensive portfolio of precision enameled copper wires with ultra-thin insulation coatings. Our high-performance round magnet wires are engineered for electromagnetic coils in automotive electronics, new energy systems, industrial automation, and consumer devices.
The insulation layer—composed of specialized polymers including polyurethane, polyester-imide, and polyamide-imide—forms a robust dielectric barrier. We optimize resin formulations to achieve critical wire properties: abrasion resistance, direct solderability, and thermal endurance ratings from 130°C to 220°C.
All magnet wires undergo stringent manufacturing to withstand aggressive chemical/gaseous environments while delivering exceptional thermal stability. Self-bonding variants feature thermoplastic coatings that fuse coils when heat-activated. Custom solutions are available across:
